BOLD INSPIRATION

Surveyor Andrew McKenzie Recruited TRENDENZA to create a bold interior using his own striking ideas, inspired by visits to Hotels and Spas, and reading Magazines
 
Living Room
The Living room is decorated with a very striking iridescent swirling bronze leaf pattern on a vivid lime background from the Brocante range by Tektura Wall coverings, highlighting other period features in the room such as the chandelier. The final colour scheme and bold patterns creates an indoors/ outdoors theme, and is striking enough to forego artwork on the walls. Muted Greens, Creams, Chocolate and Gold's blend with the wall covering with accessories from Soto and minimalist curtains from Skopos.

 
Kitchen
The contemporary kitchen sourced from Howdens Glen Devon Cream range, features high gloss slab fronted draw units and stainless steel appliances, complemented with real oak worktops. A bold bevelled metallic tile creates the splash back and the floor has a subtle Alfa Cemento tile to maintain the contemporary look and allow the natural light to bounce around the room. The bold burgundy wall is softened by a neutral mushroom emulsion elsewhere in the room.

 
Bathroom
A spa feel in the bathroom is achieved with large format limestone tiles on the floor and up the walls, and green LED'S in the overhang space to promote clam and tranquillity. The bathroom suite and whirlpool bath is finished off with chocolate coloured accessories, iridescent 25,, aluminium blind and matching hand towels. The ensuite replaced an old press cupboard, the bold scheme in the bedroom continuing through the bathroom with Ambito tiles which have a sand wave patterned blown through them. A touch of glamour comes in the shape of crisp cube stainless steel fittings and blue lighting for a softer glow.

 
Bedroom
The theme in this room is purple and cream with a large tulip pattern wall covering from the Brocante range by Tektura and a heavy cream pile carpet for the floor.
This mirrored with a cream suede roller blind to give a feeling of luxury and opulence. A wenge king size low level bed from Dwell with adjoining side tables completes the furniture in the room with crisp white bedding.
